At Steven Anthony, Inc., processing orders was done on a manual basis that was time-consuming, inefficient, and required the look up of hundreds of styles and suppliers. This made managing orders difficult and orders were getting lost. As a result, the company was not growing as much as it should. Pixel by Pixel met with Steven Anthony, Inc. to understand their business and review their expectations for the new system. We recommended development of a new custom software application and database that would automate order processing. The new application had many other capabilities, including automatic generation of work orders for the production department, as well as lists of suppliers for purchasing. The new database eliminated the need to remember hundreds of details. In addition, we integrated the new application with Steven Anthony's accounting system, allowing automatic export of invoices from the order processing system. The application created by Pixel by Pixel for Steven Anthony increased sales for them by 35% with no extra marketing effort. Employees were able to use the new system for processing orders. The time required to process an order was greatly reduced and order errors were minimized which made the customers happy. Once invoices were automatically generated and sales were complete, the company was able to run sales analysis reports to easily analyze their performance. The new system led to an increase in profitability and growth for Steven Anthony, Inc.
