Art and Design Online wanted to develop a website for Artists and Designers to showcase their work. In addition Art and Design Online wanted the website to have a directory of the registered Artists and Designers to make it easy for art lovers to browse and search portfolios of the registered members in areas of specific interest to them. The website had to be developed so that it would be easy for the non-technical members like Artists to setup and manage their portfolio on the website.
Pixel by Pixel understood the requirements and developed a web portal. The web portal provides an intuitive interface for Artists to join, upload and manage their portfolio through the "My Account" section of the web site. Artists have the opportunity to register a domain name and receive a free email address for a small annual fee, which can be paid through the easy to use "My Account" area of the web site.
Web users can visit the web portal to Search and Browse Artists and Designers by various categories, keywords and location and view information about the Artists and their works.
Art and Design Online receives new registrations on a daily basis and received few thousand members in the first month alone.
